Armarium XXX : diversa cameralia, 1550-1578.

This collection is largely the administrative correspondence of the papal Camera and is sometimes known as the Libri diversorum negotiorum cameralium. As would be expected, the series contains mandates from the camerarius to his subordinates, and letters from him or them to the collectors and fiscal agents of the papal states and elsewhere. There are besides, however, many entries of quittances of bishops on ad limina visits, and copies of dispensations in which the camera had a particular interest, like prorogations; there are testimonials and notes on salaries.
